The mechanism of emotion

Emotional response is closely linked with the ability to distinguish the biological significance of stimuli appeared on the evolutionary ladder of organisms very early and is almost a fundamental property of all living organisms. If we accept that emotions are the most primitive animals, it is logical to look for the mechanism of this reaction, since these organisms are with a very simple organization. But, as often happens, a person tends to the stars through the thorns. Historically, that studies the physiological bases of emotions focused on the study of brain activity at the closest to the evolutionary relationship to man and consequently the most intricate of animals: monkeys, dogs, cats, rats and rabbits. Shortly after the publication of the Darwin book there was a so-called peripheral theory of emotions. According to this theory, the place of emotion is the brain. The first system model was proposed in 1937 by the American scientist James Peypets. According to his view, the emotional response of the organism associated with the circulation of excitation in a circle. The limbic emotion theory does not explain how the circulation of excitation in the same brain structures may provide a variety of scores, both positive and negative subjective experiences of the organism. It is at odds with a number of experimental and clinical data. Analysis of the huge accumulated experimental material science shows that nerve cells respond to various stimuli, the same pattern: the degree of electric polarization of the membrane changes. It has long been known that living cells of any organisms on the surface has an electrical charge. The degree of electric polarization, that is the level of membrane potential, determines the quality of life flow processes in cells and natural way is changing under the influence of any stimulus. Initially, all stimuli are unfavorable factors. It is obvious that the organisms should avoid irritants, depolarizing the membrane of the cells, as it threatens destruction. Thus, a mechanism to evaluate the biological significance of stimuli, respectively and emotions can be incorporated in the features of the organization of individual cells. Emotion is a subjective phenomenon of multicellular, reflecting the change in quality of life of individual cells.
